Updated: May 20

For those in authority as they combat this pandemic: Grant those tasked with providing direction to our nation wisdom in their management of this crisis. May they make righteous decisions.

We pray especially for Elizabeth our Queen and Her Government, the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, the Cabinet, and all members of Parliament.

For the return to greater normalcy: Give wisdom to those tasked with arrangements regarding the lifting of lockdown restrictions.

For business leaders making difficult decisions that affect the lives of their employees: God, give these men and women wisdom in all their decisions. We pray that jobs would be reinstated and there would be an economic recovery.

Suggested Scripture verses -

1 Chronicles 12:32; “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.”

Proverbs 14:34; “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”

1Timothy 2:1-3. “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2. For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour."
