For families with young children at home: God, help mothers and fathers to creatively care for them. May single mothers and fathers be supported.
For parents who cannot stay home from work: We pray they will find adequate care for their children.
For workers facing layoffs and financial hardship: God, keep them from panic, and supply their needs. Protect them and their families from long term economic damage and guide them day by day and step by step through this crisis.
For the young and the strong: God, give them the necessary caution to keep them from unwittingly spreading this disease.
For students, whose courses of study are changing, whose future is uncertain: Father God, show them that while life is uncertain, they can place their trust in You.
For those who have lost loved ones to this disease: God of all comfort and Father of mercies may they experience the peace that passes understanding, as they rest in Christ Who is the resurrection and the Life.
